Which makeup brand is best for the smoky eye look?

I've seen shadow palettes for the smoky eye look at lots of places like Sephora and Chanel, but I'm not sure which ones work best. Do you have some favorites?

Okay here's what you do. It works great. Buy a twenty dollar eye shadow primer at Sephora ( i use urban decay potion). Then buy runway eye shadow and other cheap shadows at a drugstore. Runways eyes is 7 dollars and is a small palette of several different shades of one color. Buy the darker palette. It has several blacks, grays, and a white. It's perfect for a smokey eye. It has a little sparkles and gives sort of a metallic look. Buy other cheap good looking eye shadow and other runway eyes colors. The designer sephora eye primer will leave the eye shadow on all day, keeping it crease free and full and flirty. you will be classy and sexy without being slutty. It's more about technique than specific brands. Urban Decay and Too Faced have great instructions in their palettes.
