How do you get the ';cat eye'; look with black eyeliner.?

I have tried and tried but people younger than me can do it and so do celebrities! How do you get the ';cat eye'; look with black eyeliner.?
Before you put your eyeliner on heat it up a little. Not too much or you'll melt it. Put it on your upper lid (hold it down by the eyelashes) and lower one. Take two of your fingers on the outside corner of your eye and swipe them up. Take a sharp eyeliner and darken the area. Remove anything that you don't want on there with a Q-tip. It's kind of hard to explain but if you experiment with it you'll get better at it with practice. How do you get the ';cat eye'; look with black eyeliner.?
The cat-eye can be complicated, but I'll try to give you a simpler method, although you'll wonder how simple when you see how long this is! Take your time and take it one step at a time. Are you using liquid or pencil liner? Liquid is OK on the upper lid, but don't use it on the bottom- too hard. Here's what you'll need; A pencil liner. Black, if you like. It's classic for this. A charcoal colored pencil. One that is blue Grey is nice because it will brighten your eyes. A black shadow and 2 more colors. One should be a deep tone and one should be a light/medium tone. you want contrast between the colors. Let's say the deep is a deep purple and the other is a matte dusty pink. With the black pencil line your upper eye- don't try to get fancy, just line it. Now on the lower lid, line a little bit from the outer corner- 1/4 to 1/3 across- not all the way. Next, draw a line from the lower corner to your crease. Aim it toward the outside end of your eyebrow.. Don't try to draw this from the upper lid- you'll never get them even! Now draw on the upper line to merge with the bottom line. Smudge them to get them even if you have to, but try to keep the line sharp. It's your guideline. Put the pink shadow on your lid.Take your purple shadow and draw it along the liner's line up onto your brow bone- but not all the way to the end of your eyebrow. Now smudge it into the crease about 1/3 of the way across. Blend well. with a narrow brush put it along your lower lash line sparingly. Use the charcoal liner to line the inside of your lower lash line- circle it around the inside and inner corner. Use the lighter liner so your eyes don't close up. now go into the corners again with the black shadow, but keep it in the corners- don't go into the crease. Keep this darkest color tapered up to maintain the cat-eye shape. blend it in nicely. Now go over the areas you used the black liner again so the line is rich. Next go over it with the black shadow to seal the liner and make it stay. You can use a black liquid liner instead of pencil if you like for the last passover, but don't use it for making the first line- you can't smudge it or manipulate it. If you use a different color to line your upper eye, say brown, use a very dark brown shadow instead of the black. Match your liner. Remember, shadow is used to shape your eye- that's what you're doing here.
go on ebay and order the alexis vogel dvd about eyes and hair... It will help you. It helped me a lot. She does Pam Anderson and other celebs
squint :))
carefully with liquid eyeliner, using the tip of the applicator to make the points at the corners. gotta steady your hand and take a deep breath so it doesn't go on shaky!
kSharpen your pencil a lot and then sweep it across the bottom lid, extending the line a little further than the natural crease of your eye. the key is a thinner line, which makes the look more dramatic and subtle.
