Yeah, I need help with getting the smokey eye look. I have dark brown, almost black, hair and green eyes and fair skin. Every time I try to do it myself it ends up looking goth-ish, which i don't want, i just want it to look subtle and sexy. I don't know if i'm applying it the completely wrong way or maybe im using the wrong colors, i'm not sure. So i need someone who knows a lot about makeup to help me on this... im going to be a makeup artist so i deffinetley can help you with this...add grey eyeshadow on first then add black on your top eyelash line..then add a very small amout of black eyeshadow to the whole eyelid and put some eyeliner on the bottom lash line. that should give you the smokey eye lookHow to get the smokey eye look?
since your pale, try a dark brown or grey color instead of black, it probably contrasts too much with your skin.
if you shop at sephora, they have kits with everything you need and even a little booklet, if you go into a store they can even do it for you!
but idk if the kit comes wih different colors, but the pros at sephora can definatley help!
use dark eyeshadow (like brown) on the creases of your eyes and then fade in to a light color (like light tan) when you get right before your eyelashes. they usually have eyeshadow at like target with both of those colors, and it shows you how to on the back of the container.
