What is the BEST eye shadow look for dark blue-green eyes?

I'm starting school soon and need a cute, but hot new eyeshadow look. I kinda want to look natural, but at the same time have people notice I'm wearing makeup. What should I do?What is the BEST eye shadow look for dark blue-green eyes?
You should try a a light lime green glittery eyeshadow my best friend loves wearing that one and her eyes look spectacular., And maybe add just a little mascara. What is the BEST eye shadow look for dark blue-green eyes?
Light purple (bright, like lavender) base

Swipe some shimmery light brown over that

This will make your eyes so totally pop but make sure the purple is noticable.
Im dark blue with green around the iris. I love gray colours the best because they make the blue in the eye stand out.
A golden brown would look nice :) or a light purple.

I hope this helps.
the best eye shadows for green eyes are lavendar or mocha (finish off with some brown mascara)

the best eye shadows for blue eyes are brown or rose (finish it off with some brown/black mascara)

u have green/blue eyes, so somewhere in between there-lol.
My friend has gorgeous green-blue eyes and the most beautiful colours on her are plums, mauves and purples. These really bring out the sparkling blue in her eyes. Alternatively corals, oranges and golds are great if you want to bring out the warmer green tones.

You don't have to wear the colour over the entire eyelid. You can use a fine eyeliner brush and apply the colour just along the lashes or alternatively, use an eyeliner pencil in one of the above colours for subtle definition and enhancement of your eyes' colour and shape.

All the best! x
use an orange - gold colour on your eyelid and a little under your eye and some black eyeliner (not too heavy) the orange in the gold will bring out your eye colour (orange is complimentary to blue) and the gold will make you look sophisticated. The black eyeliner will define your eye shape.
Have you seen what Angelina Jolie does? Wonderful! Use a soft cream colored eye shadow with a bit of sparkle, try: Dior Mono Eyeshadow in Ready-To-Beige or Lorac eyeshadow in Sand ($16-) Then using a pencil eyeliner in brown (love Body Shop's eyeliner) apply to the top of your eyelids and soften with an angle brush (Revlon). Now apply two coats of mascara, I love Maybelline's waterproof featherlash in black. Apply lipbalm everyday, try Blistex and then put on your lipstick like Dior lipstick in Beige-To-Box Office or gloss in soft warm shades like Lancome juicy tube in simmer. Have fun and remember that school takes place during the day and NOT at night! :)

How do I make my eye lids look even?

Ok so for some reason my eye lids are uneven. I think its because I rubbed my eye lid to much but now when I wear eye shadow it looks a little lower them my other eye lid. Thers like a wrinkle preventing it from going in all the way. How do I get rid of it?How do I make my eye lids look even?
haha i have that too i think a lot of people do. here's what i do:

on the one that shows more eyelid, put more eyeliner and on the one that looks like it has less eyelid, put a little less eyeliner. it gives the effect that its evened out. not too dramatic though because then you could tell but it at least gets you by until you find something better. hope i helped :)How do I make my eye lids look even?
Benefit's Lemon Aid is a color correcting eye lid primer. You should try it

Blue. The color of your eyes are enhanced with the wavelength of that spectrum of light that blue absorbs.

You are lucky. Green eyes. You must be looking very good. What color should I wear to make my green eye's look better?
i'll just answer with a colour that would be good that hasn't been mentioned...purple. But, seeing as it's christmas...red could be a good match-up ;P

hmmm...it's all so hard to say if your skin and hair colour isn't mentioned though.
glittery gold - because they blend really nice

or black because it makes your eye like more striking due to contrast

i LOVE green eyees :) lucky x
I have green eyes too and usually people say green clothes make them look brighter and greener when I choose darker greens to wear.Hope this helps:)
Burnt orange is nice with green and will contrast your eyes... so lucky having green eyes :)

Where should eye liner be placed to make my eyes look larger?

if you want to make your eyes look larger put eyeliner on just on your top lashline. you can also apply a flesh color to the bottom lashline.

i think it's cool when you line the bottom lashes too, but if u do that don't color in the full lashline leave the inner and outer corners uncoloredWhere should eye liner be placed to make my eyes look larger?
on the top lashline. from the inner corners to the outer (light to heavy). you could also put a really light line (not too much) on the bottom lash, it'll look really nice =)Where should eye liner be placed to make my eyes look larger?

  • How do i make my eye lashes look super long?

I don't want to use fake eye lashes but i don't know how to make my eye lashes look Super long. Please help me i would appericiate it. LovesHow do i make my eye lashes look super long?
Use a thickening and lengthening mascara, they will make it look amazing and get one that has a brush that doesn't clump. How do i make my eye lashes look super long?
    protein mascara duhhhh
    use maybelline volume xxl
    here are 3 basic steps:

    1) get either a heated eyelash curler OR take a normal eyelash curler and hold it under the blow dryer for a few seconds. then curl ur lashes.

2)Put some powder on your eyelashes before the mascara. i just use my loose foundation powder.

    3) get a high quality mascara that is made to lengthen lashes. DONT FORGET TO SEPERATE LASHES AFTER
what i usually do which works awesome! is i firstly curl my eye lashes (either a normal eye lash curler or a heated one! heated works the best :) ) and then i firstly apply a lengthening mascara start from the very roots of your eye lashes and extend them out to the very tips! then go over your eye lashes with a volume mascara! and seperate them with a eyelash brush and they should look beeeaaauuutiful!!!

good luck hun hope i helped!! xoxox
i use a light coat of vaseline before i go to sleep..there's lots of mascarra that works great called big lashes
    MASCARA!
get this eyelash thikener or just wait a long time sorry

or just buy fake onesor get them perfetionally put on at a salon
The best way is to curl you're lashes from the root for like 40 seconds, with a eyelash curler, %26amp; heat it up for max results!
you can use a lengthening mascara like dior show by dior, or something cheaper like loreal lash double extend, but a primer lash base always boosts the length (and thickness). Clinique makes a great lash building primer. and then finally for extreme lash length talika makes these fibers that you can brush on after primer or your first coat of mascara i swear you'll look like you are wearing false lashes. well thats my process try it =)

How do i achieve the ';smoky eye'; look....?

thats not to dark, like i can wear in the day time? How do i achieve the ';smoky eye'; look....?
Is this a photoshop question or ??How do i achieve the ';smoky eye'; look....?
Great question. I like using browns/taupes for day time smokey look. Purchase a light, medium and darker shade of brown/taupe. Use the lightest color all over your lid up to right under your eye brow. Then use the medium shade all over the natural lid up to the crease. then use the darker color on the outer corner of the eye on blend it into the crease. Make sure you BLEND...that makes a huge difference. You can also go to a makeup counter in your local mall and an artist there will be glas to help!!!

Also if you have an eyeshadow brush. Please use that. It is much easier.

you can also apply eyeliner if you want. Mascara is a must!
    Are you following me?
Go down to the corner store and buy a carton or three of cigarettes. Get some cigars, too, if they have them. Cuban Cohibas are the best. Then, smoke constantly.

Within a few years, your eyes will begin to wrinkle and yellow. Thus, you will have achieved the ';smoky eye'; look you seek.

    Hope this helps!
Just put some gray eyeshadow in the corner of your continue the color under the brow then take some blackish eyeshadow and apply it to the lid and maybe some black mascara and eyeliner and j.t.l.y.k im a makeup artist
You need to put a neutral, nude coloured eyeshadow on your eyelid first (from underneath your brow to your lashes), then a darker colour (brown, burgundy, black) just on your eyelid, instead of using a brush try to do this with your fingers so that it looks smudged (but keep it on the eyelid and don't go beyond the crease at the top). If you want it even more severe then put a line of black eyeliner above your upper lashes, and smudge it with a q-tip or your finger. Then, paint thick black eyeliner on the lower, inner rim of your eye, and in between your upper lashes. You can also put brown eyeliner on the upper, outer corner of your eyes (inside the rim but be careful). Put on black mascara, and curl your eyelashes.

Be really, really careful around your eyes though.
what my friend does is she uses a liquid eyeliner on the top and bottom. then she picks a color, lets say green, and she puts it dark and the bottom of the eyelid then makes it lighter and lighter going to the top. then with a different color, maybe brown for smoky eyes, she uses a brush to swipe the top of her eye near the eyebrow. finally she takes a q-tip and puts a little bit of green on it and wipes it under her eye, close to the eyeliner. i think it looks really cute for the day...
apply eyeliner , then rub it gently under the eyes.

    this gives the desired look.

How do i get a smokey eye look, without it gettin all smeared and stuff?

ive tried to do this before with blak eyeliner, and dark eyeshadow, and it just DOESNT work. please be detailed bout how to do it, and im no proffecional , so it has to be simiple. thanksHow do i get a smokey eye look, without it gettin all smeared and stuff?
Depends on how smokey you want to go. Here's what I do:

Start with a black eyeliner pencil, black mascara, and a trio set of gray eye shadow (I like Cover Girl . . . there's one with a dark gray, light gray, and a very light pinkish color). You'll also need a small make-up brush.

Apply the eyeliner to only outer 3/4ths of the inside of your upper lids. Putting it all the way in or on the bottom will make your eyes look smaller. Now starting with your darkest shade of gray apply the eye shadow to the outer 3/4ths of your eyelids. Keep the eye shadow confined to under the arched crease of your eyelids. Now take the lighter shade of gray and apply it to the inner 1/4th of your eyelids and all the way up to your eyebrows keeping it arched out (so you'll have a wavy triangle type shape under the inside of your eyebrows with no makeup). Finish the eyeshadow up with lightly dusting the pinkish (or lightest color) makeup over your entire eye area up to your eyebrow to blend everything. Apply your mascara only to your upper lids and the outer 3/4ths of your lashes. How do i get a smokey eye look, without it gettin all smeared and stuff?
have you tried professional, higher-end makeup?

it really is better than drugstore brand

try KOHL eyeliner, and try using more eyeshadow than eyeliner.

also you can use translucent, loose, powder as a ';base'; all over, it will help hold things.

    good luck!
Take a light colored eyeshadow and spread it over your eye and above to your brow. Take a medium colored eyeshadow and sweep it over lid. Then take the deepest shade, and contour in crease and line lower lashes. Take black eyeliner and define upper lashline with a stong, precise stroke. For mascara, brush on your color (probaly black) and then comb through to ends for extreme length and definition. Do your regular blush and take a kinda of dark but not very dark lipgloss or lipstick on your lips. Now your face is done!

    Good Luck!

The easiest way I know how to do it is to use eyeshadow instead of eyeliner. You just take very dark (charcoal gray or very dark navy blue or brown) eyeshadow, use the pointy part of the eyeshadow applicator or an angled brush, and sweep the eyeshadow into the roots of your upper lashes, and blend it up just to the crease under your eyebrow. Use the same color shadow and sweep a tiny line under your bottom lashes at the root, and sweep it out just a tiny bit past the outside corner of your eye. If you want to go really dramatic, use a liner on the inside edge of your lower eyelid too. Then put on some black mascara %26amp; you're done.

however you do it, i usually put a little bit of lipchap on my eyelids if im going out for the night. It keeps the eyeshadow attached, and it wont smear all over.
Do it normally, and top with a translucent powder. Wetting your applicator before you put on eyeshadow will make it stick, and not only will it not smear as much, but it'll stay vibrant all day (or as vibrant as smokey eyes get).

    My smoky eye:

I get a dark colored eyeliner (not necessarily black) and apply eyeliner all the way around, winging it out on the sides to get a cat eye (you don't have to, I do the cat eye thing everyday).

I get a nude, goldish, or taupe like shimmery eyeshadow, and blend a little bit past my crease.

I wet my brush, then add a dark eyeshadow, usually red, to half of my eyelid, then I wet the brush again, and apply a dark blue or grey eyeshadow, blending it a bit with the red so it fades from black to red. I put the black on the outside of my eye, and blend it so the cat eye sort of frames the shadow. I only apply this up to my crease.

I put a translucent powder (I use loose face powder just for my eyes), over it to make it stay, then reapply any eyeliner that may have been covered.

Voila. Keep the rest of your face simple, and don't let anything overpower the eye makeup.

I think you should stick with earth tones.

Start with a light, shimmery shadow such as MAC eyeshadow in Gleam or Gorgeous Gold and sweep it over the entire lid. Then shade the outside of the lid with a darker, bronzey shade such as MAC's Amber Lights or Woodwinked.

For your lashes, curl them and apply a lengthening mascara if your lashes are really thick. Hope this helped! What eye makeup look is best for my features?
pink or purple eyeshadow- i think opposite colors work relaly well (green and purple)

wear some blush to not wash your face out.. maybe orange-ish pink for a healthy glow..

for eyeliner- for a strong look - black, but for a softer look try brown.

Eyelashes should be curled always- they open your eyes up. try mascara if its a light color.

    hope that helped!
black eye shadow or purple or light green or u can mix yellow with it.also blue works. u can get away with using a lot of colors since ur eyes are green it's harder when u have dark brown eyes like me!

How do you get that smokey eye look?

i have really light skin so i don't want to look gothic or punk with hardcore dark makeup on, but i do want to get that smoky eye look

any suggestions? How do you get that smokey eye look?
    Smokey Eyes

In order to achieve the “smokey eyes” look you must select dark, neutral colors. Black eyeliner with gray eye shadow will work well for the smokey eyes appearance. First, line your eyes with a black eye liner pencil. Make sure you line both top and bottom paying close attention to lining around the natural eyelid contour. You can use concealer under your eyes with a thick coat of powder that will catch any excess eye shadow, which will later be brushed away so you don't get the dark colors under your eyes.

After you line your eyes carefully smudge the liner in the outer corners to soften the line. Then apply a thin line of black eye shadow over your eyeliner to further soften the look and create a stronger contrast. Next apply your eye shadow all over your eyelid, use a charcoal shadow or a neutral brown. Now top it off with black mascara and neutral lipstick and blush colors. Smokey eyes are a popular for evenings or “night on the town” adventures.

    I copied that from make-up.lifetips.com

What colours eye shadow look nice for green eyes?

i have green eyes..they are a dark green.

I heard golds, purples, and browns (or neutral shades)

im not sure what would look good. What colours eye shadow look nice for green eyes?
    yea neutrals

What colours eye shadow look nice for green eyes?
    i think blues or purples.
I have dark green eyes too.

what you need to do is

    1.get a light shimmery purple

2.then in the crease of your eyes, apply a slightly darker purple.

    3. on the outside corner of your eye, apply just a tad of black/silver

4.Apply black eyeliner to that part where your bottom lashes are.

    5. after applying the eyeliner, take the SAME shimmery purple shadow and put just a little bit under the lashes.

    6. Take some white or white-ish silve and put a little bit where your tearduct is, and maybe a little underneither your eyebrows.

    6. for the final touch add mascara.

    PERFECT :)
    shimmery, bright, neutral colors.

browns, whites, greys, even yellows. :)

Green eyes would be complemented very nicely with soft gold hues or browns, a natural color to enhance the intensity of your green eye color!
Golds, greens, purples, browns, and earthy reds go nicely.

I have green eyes myself, and these all work well.

I would stay away from blue eyeshadow, in my experience. Blue doesn't look bad necessarily (I strongly believe you can make almost ANY makeup work), but it is not as flattering as the colours mentioned.

    Have fun with makeup. :)
Yes. You're right! I think light brown and gold would really bring them out.

How do you get your eyes to look less round and more of a ';cat eye'; ?

how do you achieve that without the one straight line of liquid liner i see everyone have. i want it to look pretty natural. any tricks on putting on the make-up? i've heard to put darker colors on the outside corner, but wouldn't that make your eyes appear smaller?

THANK YOU!!!How do you get your eyes to look less round and more of a ';cat eye'; ?
my advice would be... if you have dark eyes use a black shade and if you have lighter eyes try using a lighter shade like brown.

Close one eye and pull the side of the eye so it stretches, sweep eyeshadow, preferably a darker shade across your lid then using the liquid eyeliner, put it close to your lashes right the way along the lid and maybe about 4mm-5mm longer but as you do this flick it up.How do you get your eyes to look less round and more of a ';cat eye'; ?
okay with any eyeliner you have, put it on the bottom lid,

What eyeshadow colors make a hazel eye color look more green than brown?

what is a good color to use to make my hazel eyes look more green. What eyeshadow colors make a hazel eye color look more green than brown?
Green and Hazel: Golden browns, warm taupes, deep purples, soft peaches and soft violets flatter this eye colour the best : )

I've also heard baby pink works great too! What eyeshadow colors make a hazel eye color look more green than brown?
In order to get green eyes to pop, you should try wearing various purple shades. The contrast in color to your eyes will make them seem more dramatic. If you want your eyes to stand out but look more natural, you may want to try warmer mocha brown shades or warm colors with slight orange undertones. Basic eyeshadow colors for green eyes would be earth tones with slight hints of gold, taupe colors, mocha browns, and lavender-purple shades. Since most green and hazel eyes has a variety of flecks, feel free to experiment with these colors so you can find the perfect one for your eyes.

Keep in mind that you should have fun with your eyeshadow and it shouldn't be a bothersome process. A general rule of thumb with eyeshadow is to first compliment your eye color and then it shouldn't contrast your clothing. In other words, don't wear a purple based eyeshadow on your blue eyes while you are wearing a coral toned shirt. You should try to keep your clothing and eyeshadow in the same or color family, or at least a complimentary family. And finally, remember that sometimes less is more. Don't add 5 layers of green eyeshadow on your brown eyes, thinking that it will make them look fabulous. Often times a slight hint of color is all your eyes need to really pop and look mesmerizing.
To the green in your eyes pop, you would want to use any eye shadow or liner with red undertones. Like purples and pinks. Using a green shadow will make your eyes look less hazel/brown.

I personally would recommend a dark purplely brown liner and and a neutral base (can be a shimmer or a matte shadow) over your lid . Then I would put a sideways V of a darker color than your base. The V can be colors such as a dark peachy color, a rich lavender or any color you desire. This will create a somewhat smokey eye effect while still bringing out the green in your eyes.

One could also add gold. Gold livens things up as well as brings out the more dominant colors.
    Plums, purples, and raisin.
warm colors. browns, golds and greens and purples
    a lightish pink
    I'd say purple or gold

Most colors look good with Asian eyes, but warm, neutral shades might be your best bet. Many lighter-skinned Asians prefer shades of brown/pink, but darker shades like plum look good, too. You'll probably want to use black eyeliner on your top lid, and mascara to enhance your eyes. If you want to give your eyes depth, start with a darker shade at the lash line, finishing with a lighter shade near the brow-- you can buy makeup that provides these graduating colors. Another tip would be to use a darker shade of eye shadow in the crease of your lid, to create the illusion of a deeper lid. If you go to www.palacinka.com in their face products review section you can read about some great colors. They have over 1,000 beauty product reviews from 300 of the world's top brands!

A trick my grandmother taught me: apply your mascara and make sure your lashes are separated before they dry. While still drying, apply some foundation powder and apply another coat of mascara. It'll thicken them beyond belief :-D Be sure to separate again lest you look like you have tarantulas growing out of your eyes ;-)
i love volume exact mascara by covergirl, it plumps without clumping.
    Castor oil
You can go two ways on this. You can get a two step lash building mascara like Maybelline XXL or you can get a set of false eyelashes. Using eyeliner at the base of your lashes also makes them look fuller.
i like to put black liner right under the top lash layyer. if you want very think lashes swipe some clear goss on, then add mabaline (blackst black pink bottle) orks best because it dosent clump! if your going out you can add some charcoal grey to the crease.

How do you make your eye lashes look really long?

What techniques, type of mascara, etc. should you use? I really want my eyelashes to look longer, but it never seems to work. How do you make your eye lashes look really long?
It all depends on what kind of mascara your using. You always want something that will lengthen the look of your lashes. If you have very short eyelashes, i would buy some false eye lashes, those always make your lashes look the all the celebs. I use the Revlon one, the one with 2 tubes of mascara. One side is white and you put that on before you put the colored mascara. It actually helps you before you actually want to put the actual mascara on. It allows you to seperate and style them before you apply the black or brown. Also if you use a eyelash curler, you can curl them and as your curling them, use a blowdryer on medium heat and it would help them stay. Hope it helps. How do you make your eye lashes look really long?
The best technique I've found is to use Cover Girl's Professional mascara which is a good inexpensive product. I would use the blackest color which gives more depth to the lash and then use a curler. The trick is to preheat the lash curler with your dryer for a few minutes and then apply to your lashes. It will ';heat'; the lash so it will curl and then apply several coats of mascara, letting the one coat dry for each application. If that isn't really giving you longer lashes, then you can apply the single lashes you see and they really are natural looking if you only apply a few.
This kind of works for me:

Instead of putting the wand horizontal when applying mascara, position it so it's almost vertical. Dip the want into the tube so you get lots of mascara onto it and apply it onto the end of your lashes. Also remember to even the lashes/mascara out so it isn't clumpy and the lashes stick together.

    Good luck. ;)
Yeah, that's hard, my eyelashes aren't very long at all, but it really does help if you use mascara, I recommend L'Oreal Double Extend Mascara, it works like mascara but it's really just lash extensions that come off easily. Or, if you just want to use a good mascara without the extensions, Maybelline Great Lash works really well.
Buy an eyelash curler because that helps the most and they aren't that expensive either. They say heated eyelash curlers work the best but my trick is heating it with a blow dryer and then curling them, but be careful it might get too hot. !! And lancome mascara is my personal fav.It really works beautifully! Or if you just want one from a local drugstore get the Great lash maybelline mascara!!
You do that by using a good mascara and when applying it keep your eyes half closed and start with the brush as close to the skin as possible then let the first application dry before applying a thin coat of clear mascara. I like Mary kay, the brush is a great curler and the mascara doesn't cake up. I have also used Madeline Volume mascara with good results. Have fun and God Bless, Velle T
First apply this mascara: The Colossal Volum' Express from Maybelline

This mascara will thickin your lashes and extend them a lot. believe me i've used it sooo many times lol.

Next apply fake lashes. This will make it look more dramatic looking!

Plus, apply liquid eyeliner in black before the fake lashes!

    hope i helped! %26lt;3 :o)
I had the same problem because my eyelashes are really short, But now I found out something that works. First, use an eyelash curler, they work wonders. Then use mascara, one that has a thick wand and use it in quite a few layers. After the mascara dries, use an eyelash curler again a few more times. That should help. =)
you could use an electric/heated eyelash curler. those are generally good. my fav mascara is the new CG one in the orange tube. sorry i forget what its called but its in lots of ads right now. use a skinny wand for your bottoms and inside tops.

    have fun:)
put on a layer of mascara and when its still wet rub some flour on your lashes and then put another layer of mascara on.

give it a try it really works
yeah, either eyelash extensions if you want the quick fake way or lots of mascara is what I do and it looks long.
I like lash exact mascara =)

and then curl them a lil bit and they'll look great
    fake eyelashes
    Eyelash extensions
    buy GOOD Mascara
but the volume mascara...i have it and it works great.....if not you can get fake ones.....
You put some mascara on them ! That should work

    XxxX
Wear fake ones like those drag queens. They are hot!!!

its just sort of a smokey eye look.

first of all i would get a white eyeshadow and just do the top corner of your eyelid (right under your eyebrow) and high light it :)

then get a black eyeshadow and do it across your eyelid, then gradually fade it out, maybe adding in some slivers and grey etc. :)

these are just tips from what it looks like in the pic.

    black eyeliner

    black mascara

darker gray almost black eyeshadow in the crease

a tad bit of black on the way outter corner and then smoth it all together

then put a real light silver or even white in the inner corner

extend the black liner all the way so the connect on the otter corner but Not inner corner.

How do I make my eye lashes look thicker, longer, and more curled?

I don't want to use a curler because my lashes are far too short. And I also don't want to buy a 40 dollar mascara...What type of mascara's could help me with this? How do I make my eye lashes look thicker, longer, and more curled?
    cover girl LashExact $7

cover girl Professional mascara (the curvy brush) around $7How do I make my eye lashes look thicker, longer, and more curled?
Estee Lauder has great selections of Mascara - try them out, also, if you dont want to use a curler, get a temporary eyelash curl from a parlor - its like getting your hair curl, last for like 2 months or try eyelash extension.
rimmel curling mascara..it's cheap but works very well.
Maybelline Volume Express Turbo Boost mascara. It's around $6-7 bucks at any drug store.
Well, we are girls and have had the same problem... we think that u shouldn't by curlers or 40 dollar mascara... u could by regular mascara such as lancome thats one of the best mascara i've used.

if the lancome doesn't work try the clear and then black mascara of any brand...
try the mascara with curved brushes. that works for me.

I use Maybelline Volume Express mascara.
As a professional makeup artist I recommend the Professional Mini Heated Lash Curler. This can't-live-without lash innovation is perfect for curling stubborn straight lashes anytime, anywhere.

Simply turn on, wait 15 seconds, place comb directly onto lash line above lashes, gently lift and comb lashes into the desired shape (as you would with a mascara brush), hold for one or two seconds, then release. Repeat across lashline until the desired effect is achieved.

For Mascara for with the Dior Show by Dior. This rich, deeply pigmented mascara has a large, full brush to give lashes that ';just off the catwalk'; look in just one coat. Never clumpy, always sexy. The ultra-glamorous catwalk eye makeup that lengthens, thickens, and curves lashes to the nth degree.
cover girl has good mascara, use a lash multiplying mascara

and just dabb the tips of your eyelashes.. let it dry and then start at the base of your lashes and hook the bristles to your lashes and sort of lock the mascara into your lashline, (you may want to softly rock the wand horizontally so you can really get your lashes close to the mascara) and turn the wand away from you as you swipe your lashes.

this will make your lashes apear to be longer and more full, repeat as necesarry.
the only way its to go for eyelash extendtions like me. I have very short and few lashes so even the best n most expensive mascara and curl i've tried NO USE AT ALL!!!! Since I done this eyelash extend it really have long and curl lash and save time! I no need to put on liner, mascara or do the curl! and previuosly i have single eyelid ever since i've done it i have double eyelid which makes my eye looks bigger! and its very cheap at $70 and it last for 2 mths n above. U save all the time and looks pretty as wat my frenz say so. So give it a try, U can sms me for the recomandations at 97800755
pose this question to the cosomotologist at the local pharmacy/drug store - she should be able to assist you with a reasonable priced one.
There is a type of avon thats cheap %26amp; dark %26amp; on the comershall it shows the brushes curvd shape. it would help if u put a lot on.

How can i make my eye makeup look like ive been crying?

how can i make my eye make up eg: maskara eyeliner smudge down my cheek to look like ive been crying? How can i make my eye makeup look like ive been crying?
I would pour water on your eyes and make sure you put al ot of eye make up on and make it black. i would spray wter and drag it down with a tissue and smear it in long streaks. or get some thing black water and pour it down your cheeks.

    hope i helped!

is this to get a boy to feeel bad???? lol just wondering. How can i make my eye makeup look like ive been crying?
    WHY WOULD YOU WANT THAT
well first of all, that's a really poser-ish thing to do and ull look pretty stupid. the whole omg im emo, i cry a lot thing only works if its genuine. put some eye makeup on and find something to cry about, but its kind of ruining the whole idea of the beauty behind the sadness.
umm try washing your eyes with or putting some water on them, then ur mascara will smudge like crazy :) But why would you want that? :s
put on LOADS of mascara and then dip you finger tips in water and flick it onto your eyes and then the mascara will water down like tears
all you need to do is put on mascara(not water proof) and just take a tissue wet it and put it on your eyelashes it will make it looked smudged
put it on ... make yourself cry, then it willl smudge

or you can put on LOTS of mascara and splash water into your eyes then it will run

or you can get the stuff that makes your eyes water really badly and makes your mascara run down your face
You can make your eyeliner smudge and put eye drops to make the mascara run
People with lenses have eye fluid. put your make up on and put some of the fluid in your eyes, blink a few times and some drops will come down like real tears. Let it dry and you done.

It's the best way, because normal water hurts your eyes. This stuff is like real tears only without salt. You can buy at any store where they sell lenses.
squeeze a wet flannel over your eye so one drop rolls down and pulls the eyeliner with it.
get the tip of a tissue and wet it slightly. then smudge your eyeliner down your cheek.

How can I make eye makeup look more natural?

right now I wear eyeliner on the top and botom and some mascara but I can't make it look natural. What should I use instead? How can I make eye makeup look more natural?
Wear a more down to earth liquid eyeliner colour like tree browns. U should also wear an off white eye shadow on your inner eye crease and a golden colour on top...try blending the two for a delicate glow. use mascara reguarly and use fountation or a bronzer. Hopes this helps good luckHow can I make eye makeup look more natural?
instead of doing mascara on the top and bottom do it just on the top ...and use an angeled brush to do it with it gives a very sleak natural look. just use brown eyeshadow to apply it ..it works amazing

then add a little bit of mascara
    Nothing.
Not wearing eye makeup looks most natural! But if you do want to wear some natural-looking eye makeup, I would recommend using a brown (not black) eyeliner just the top - don't put stuff on the bottom, it never looks natural. And I would wear a little mascara, just on the top.

I work in a corporate environment, and when I go to work, I wear a light foundation or powder just on my nose and chin, and around my eyes if they're looking a bit dark from lack of sleep etc. And then I just wear a very neutral lipstick (more to define my lip shape), and mascara only, just on the top.

It looks really natural and effortless but also accentuates my eyes nicely without looking like I'm trying too hard.

With eye makeup, less is more. You don't need to do much to accentuate, just do something on the top. Mascara alone can work very well indeed!
One thing I like to do is use a dark colored shadow with an eyeliner brush instead of using a pencil liner. Line the outer portion of your eyes, not all the way around. Also using colors more appropriate to your natural coloring is nice, like using brown shadow and mascara as opposed to black if your hair is light.
Use less eyeliner. Or you could try brown eyeliner. Wear natural eye shadows. Like greens browns tans etc. And only wear a little mascara. Hope I helped....
Instead of puting eyeliner on the bottom, put a lot on the inside of your eyelid, also, go to a store like maybe macy's they can match your face color and give you some cover up/foundation perfect to match your face color, and along with makeup, your face will look really natural =] good luck.
Liquid eyeliner in my opinion looks more natural because it is thinner, maybe try brown or dark brown instead of brown, and where brown and golden eyeshadows instead of bright colors or none at all

How do I get that pretty goth eye makeup look?

Shelly Martinez has it on in her MySpace pics, and generally the basic goth eye makeup. I've always wondered. How do I get that pretty goth eye makeup look?
You'll need: Black Liquid liner, and pencil liner, Black mascara, black shadow, dark brown shadow, and a shadow that is a shade or 2 darker than your skin tone, and whitish shadow

First line your eyes as closely to your lashed with the liquid liner and let dry. Then fill n with Pencil liner. cover your lid to your brow with white shadow. Don't clump it on there... I hate it when I see girls that do that. Evenly apply. Then on the contour of you eye apply black shadow still letting some white show on your lid. after getting the shade of black applied to your color preference, apply the dark brown to the top 1/4 of the black shadow and blend...blend... blend... Then apply the skin toned color to the top of the dark brown and blend blend blend. Follow the shape of your eye to know how much is too much. then get the dark brown with your slated shadow brush or a Q-tip if you don't ave one and apply to the bottom of your eye over the liquid liner. the blend so it wont loo like you just drew it on there. Then your mascara... I actually really like Bad girl lash from Benefit now... look it up. LOVE it

And wah-la... you have a beautiful, smokey, no one can out-do... eye.How do I get that pretty goth eye makeup look?
Line your rims with black eyeliner.

Put on fake eyelashes.(the alternative is to curl your eyelashes, apply lots of mascara, then curl them again)

The Line the top of your eye, (just above your lashes) with black liner. (a little less than half a centimetre, or quarter inch)

If you have foundation, I suggest you use it all over your face. The more pale you are the better, and if your african american, its not biggie.

Then, just put some lighter makeup surronding your eye. (coverup) but make sure to blend it in with your skin.

You can play with theese techinques, and have fun.

(If you want the scene look, I suggest bright green eyeshadow covering your eye, and going a tiny bit towards your temples)

Hope this helps, so enjoy. :)
You can out right buy it from a store like HOT TOPIC or else you can use a black or brown eye liner to draw out as far as you want it to go, and then go back over it with an eye shadow, maybe a hint of glitter too.
use charcoal powder eyeliner and a wedges brush to give you that soft smudged look that doesn't look like you smeared it.

  • How do i get the smoky eye look?

i've been trying to figure it out, and when i look it up i can't find anything that makes sense cuz it's all jumbled up, or it is to me atleast, or it has nothing to do with it. oh and can you do this without mascara? How do i get the smoky eye look?
';smoky eyes'; today just means any color eyeshadow that is blended across the entire lid ---which is why you have trouble when you search for tips.

If you mean the black/grey look, the trick is to start out with adding only a small amount of pigment to the lids and blending well. Add more pigment until you get the desired darkness. Specktra.net has good tutorials with lots of pics. How do i get the smoky eye look?
go to you tube and type in ';smokey eye'; in the search box. There's a zillion videos with diff colors. I use the ';smokin hot'; shade of LA Minerals eye shadow for the smokey eye look. On my eyelid and under bottom lashes. Then some black eyeliner along the lashes. I use the ';snow white'; along the brow line.

=P srry i dont wear makeup..

Are there any other alternatives to the smokey eye makeup look?

I'm sick and tired of the black eyeliner/eyehadow smokey eye look because everyyyyyyyyyone seems to be wearing some form of it from schoolgirls, to middle age mums to celebs.. I want something different.

What do you recommened? Atm I just apply some silvery gloss on my eyelids and mascara because everyones eyes jsut look that same!

Any ideas? Are there any other alternatives to the smokey eye makeup look?
There are several looks you can go for, depending on how dramatic you are willing to go! Here are just a few that my previous clients have requested:

    1. Natural colours, if done dramatically, can have a huge impact. Think browns and dusy colours. Highlight the inner eye lid with a shimmering tone to really make your eyes pop.

    2. Try doing pastel or muted pale tones with black gel eyeliner flicked at the end. Rim your bottom lid with white eyeliner. It's a very japanese look and it's always in fashion. Grab a slanted thin brush to make sure your eyeliner goes on perfectly.

    3. Colour gradients are my personal fave if you have the skin and fashion to pull them off. Choose three bold colours next to each other on the colour wheel that suit your skin well (I like to use yellow, orange and pink). Blend from the lightest colour on the inner eye, medium colour on the main lid to the darkest colour on the outer eye. Rim the bottom of your eyes with the darkest colour too, and try some coloured mascara to finish the look.

    4. Harsh lines can suit certain eyes, but it takes a lot of playing around to get the right shape for you. Take any of your favorite colours and mix with a small amount of water (do this on only half of the eyeshadow because it will ruin its ability to be picked up by brushes when dry). Mix until you see a paste on the end of your brush. Use this to paint a cats eye shape around your eye. If you don't want to ruin your eyeshadows, grab a gel based eyeliner or a cream eyeshadow with GOOD staying power.

    5. Dual tones are also a great way to go if you like your eyes to stand out. Use one colour on your top lid and an opposite colour on the bottom. Green and pink, blue and orange, black a silver or black and gold are always popular. If you want to tone it down, skin tones and browns on top with a dusty blue on the bottom look beautiful and safe enough to wear to work. Are there any other alternatives to the smokey eye makeup look?
Here are five different looks to go for:

    1. Only neutral eyeshadow and a nice coat of mascara for a natural yet awake look.

    2. You can just apply black eyeliner (or any color) to your waterline and use mascara, only applying a neutral eyeshadow all over you lid (off-white, for example).

    3. Or you can get the cat look by applying eyeliner on your lids.

    4. You can also apply only one color (light purple, silver, baby blue, whatever) on your whole lid and some mascara...

5.You can apply color around your whole eye (baby blue, gold brown, etc.), just don't make it too thick!
    well

you could do the smokey look with any range of colors availabe too you

it looks realy good in blue but stay away from blue if you have blue eyes

any looks are in right now so experiement, just be clear of these rules and get your own look

-NEVER USE THE SAME EYESHADOW AS YOU EYE COLOUR

it will drain your eyes and yes that does include a darkblue with blue eyes jsut dont do it

-generally green, purple, silver and black compliment blue eyes

-generally blue, purple, gold and brown compliment green eyes

-generally black, pale pink, green, orange and gold are good for brown eyes, being careful with the orange

-gold makes bags appear less dark

-always highlight your brow bone it will open up your eyes so much

    -white suits anyone

good luck finding the new look! hope i helped xx
i like the dramatic color ideas. you can just wet a skinny lip liner brush then dip it in a platelet of a glittery color eyeshadow that isnt dark or pale, but viberante colors are the best. you use that as eyeliner. then you add a shade the lightest shade of that color that you have and put that all over the lid and smooth it out to make it look okay under the brow. then add a medium shade on the lid alone.

sorry i know that was not the most helpful example but i tried. lol.

You may have hepatitis. Get tested. What would cause the white of the eye to look yellow?
When the whites of the eyes are yellow, it can indicate jaundice (which would mean an issue with the liver, like hepatitis). But it doesn't always mean it's a liver issue. Is your skin yellow, too? Have you had any other symptoms that have appeared recently? It would be a good idea to see your doctor just to let them look you over. They can do a blood test to check your liver function and to rule out other causes. Good luck.
    jaundice- yellow -hepatitis
Could be Jaundice. You probly have some kind of viral infection, go to the doctor, they can probly take care of it with some antibiotics.
Call your doctor. It could be a liver issue
If there is anything seriously wrong with your liver, you get icterus or yellowing of the sclera or the white part of the eye. Hepatitis can do this.

What do bubble eye fish look like when dead?

Do they float upside down? Or do they just sit at the top doing nothing just floating around? because mine are floating around at the top. I just got them, but i got them from wallmart. If they arent dead what are they doing? What do bubble eye fish look like when dead?
Bubble eye fish mostly swim more to the top of the water because of there eyes! It's harder for them to swim around and go deeper to the bottom of the tank!

There eyes are sorts like if you were wearing a life jacket and then trying to swim to a bottom of a pool or lake with the life jacket on! Because of there bubbled eyes, it does almost the same thing to them!!!

You should never mess with there eyes, even fish nets can't tear there eyes and other kinds of fish will be mean to them and bite at there eyes so really watch what other fish you put with them, always tell petshops which fish you already have before buying any other fish to put with bubble eye fish!!!

If there just floating upside down, they could be sick or dead! Make sure your feeding them at least 2 times a day and only feed them enough that they will eat right away with in a few minutes, Over feeding fish will not only kill them, but also pollute the tank and can kill them! Petshop sell many tank cleaning fish, they really help to keep the tank clean and you can buy them in all different sizes too! There nice to have besides just your fish, they eat the food your fish don't that drops to the bottom of the tank!!!What do bubble eye fish look like when dead?
Rose P is right. NEVER buy your fish from Wal-Mart. It's great store to get deco, or supplies at a good price, but as far as the fish etc, they are not healthy or taken care of properly. Also, anywhere else, if there are dead fish in the tank of fish you wish to buy, don't buy them, go back later... Report Abuse

dont buy fish from wallmart they dont take very good care of there fish
suggestion, don't buy from wallmart. they are in terrible condition.
they're dead, if they're not moving or breathing. duh. they're jsut getting used to their new enviorment. did u put the abg into the tank and make the temps. the same?
When bubble eyes die their eyes go flat. If you touch it and it moves it's probably alive.

How to make emo eye makeup look good on droopy eyes?

ok.. my eyes aren't that droopy

    but they're droopier than a normal person's

so when I put on heavy eyeliner it makes me look sleepy

how can I open up my eyes? but still make them look good?

    pictures?

thank you :]How to make emo eye makeup look good on droopy eyes?
Less is more when it comes to makeup. I would suggest using liquid eye liner or a very sharp eye liner pencil, line your upper eye lashes in an upward slope. Extend the line you draw so it reaches a tiny bit farther than the outer corner of your eyes. You do not want to put any liner on the bottom of your eyes because that will draw more attention to the fact that they point downwards. You want all the attention focused on the top of your eyes, so they appear more opened and bright. Avon has many great products that could help you brighten your eyes. :)

youravon.com/chilburgerHow to make emo eye makeup look good on droopy eyes?
What you need to do is apply some white eyeliner or eye shadow to the corner of your eye then after that you need to apply some plum eyeshadow to that same corner and then you need to apply all your eyeliner to your waterline or your under eye where ever you put it!

now hopefullly this will open your eye with the white liner do not apply the black eyeliner to the white. also apply more eyeshadow on the bottom than usual! This will make the eyes not appear too droopy and also it will open your eye but still keeping the emo eye look.

What does ';pink eye'; look and feel like?

I've never had it, but I believe I may be getting it.

My eye has a red blotchy area near the inner corner and it feels as if there's something stuck on my eye.

Also, both of my eyes have been very dry all day.

I'm not sure if it's just a matter of my eyes being dry or if something is wrong.

    Sound familiar to anyone?

    Thanks in advance.

:)What does ';pink eye'; look and feel like?
Conjunctivitis(pink eye) is an inflammation of the conjunctiva of the eye. Typically it presents with morning crust and drainage. It will remain red/pink and irritated. It tends to feel as if there is something in it, like sand or an eyelash. It is very contagious. you must continuously wash anything that is near your eye. the cure is prescription steroid eye drops and it will be better in no time. What does ';pink eye'; look and feel like?
conjunctivitis/pink eye/ chunky eye-tis as my little brother calls it, is very itchy, stings a bit, and makes the eye very red and gunky.

if you even suspect you have it, wash your hands plenty of times a day, with a different soap and towel from everyone else, and try to touch your eye as little as possible, incase youve touched youre eye and then something else without noticing, as this can spread it to other people.

if you have dry eyes then i duobt you have conjunctivitis because it causes the opposite usually. you may just have dry eyes, with and eyelash stuck in onewhich is causing the irritation in the corner.
If you have a discharge, it is painful, and your eye: It is caused by many different things (virus, bacteria), so the best thing to do is go to the optometrist to get the right meds so that it heals and you don't infect others. :)
it sounds to me like u have a sty they hurt n feel like u have something in ur eye n is only in one eye some one once told me to hold a warm wash cloth on it it will go a way
you would know if it was pink eye. when you wake up it will be reaaly pink and inflame closed shut with goop and it will itch terribly it sucks.
I suggest going to a dr. it couldn't hurt :)

Firstly i apply silver/grey eyeshadow on my eyelids and blend it in well. Then i use a black eyeliner and smudge it underneath the lower eyelashes, and inner rims of my eyes. I then apply lots of mascara, and add a bit more eyeliner around the edges and blend it in well. How can I get Rihanna's smokey eye look in her video ';Umbrella';?

    http://beegee.wordpress.com/2007/05/08/m鈥?/a>
I don't know the video, but Cargo makes a compact with cream eyeliner and powder eyeliner, it's called ';Smoky Eye Duo';. The black one is called ';Katmandu'; (I love mine), but it comes in dark grey, brown, blue, etc, too. Or get any good cream liner and powder liner.

Get a good eyeliner brush with a narrow, angled edge, and if you can find one, a small smudge brush. Use the cream liner with the liner brush first around your eyes but don't extend it like a cat's eye. Then go over it with either brush with the powder liner. This is so that the cream line is softened, you don't want it too neat, and to smudge the outer corners.

That should do it. Just practice and compare to magazine pictures, if you want.

Many beauty products on the market have harmful chemicals in them; do your favorite beauty products contain any of these things?:

    * Mineral Oil, Paraffin %26amp; Petrolatum – Petroleum products coat the skin like plastic, clogging pores and creating a build-up of toxins, which in turn accumulate and can lead to dermatological issues, like slowing cellular development, which can cause you to show earlier signs of aging. Suspected cause of cancer %26amp; Disruptive of hormonal activity. By the way, when there’s an oil spill in the ocean, don’t they rush to clean it up – fast? Why put that stuff on your skin?

    * Parabens – Widely used as preservatives in the cosmetic industry (including moisturizers). An estimated 13,200 cosmetic and skin care products contain parabens. Studies implicate their connection with cancer. They have hormone-disrupting qualities – mimicking estrogen – and interfere with the body’s endocrine system.

    * Phenol carbolic acid– Found in many lotions and skin creams. Can cause circulatory collapse, paralysis, convulsions, coma and even death from respiratory failure.

    * Propylene glycol – Used as a moisturizer in cosmetics and as a carrier in fragrance oils. Shown to cause dermatitis, kidney or liver abnormalities, and may inhibit skin cell growth or cause skin irritation.

    * Acrylamide– Found in many hand and face creams. Linked to mammary tumors in lab research.

    * Sodium laurel or lauryl sulfate (SLS), also known as sodium laureth sulfate (SLES)– Found in car washes, engine degreasers, garage floor cleaners… and in over 90% of personal care products! SLS breaks down the skin’s moisture barrier, easily penetrates the skin, and allows other chemicals to easily penetrate. Combined with other chemicals, SLS becomes a “nitrosamine”, a potent class of carcinogen. It can also cause hair loss. SLES is sometimes disguised with the labeling “comes from coconut” or “coconut-derived

    * Toluene – Poison! Danger! Harmful or fatal if swallowed! Harmful if inhaled or absorbed through the skin. Made from petroleum or coal tar, and found in most synthetic fragrances. Chronic exposure linked to anemia, lowered blood cell count, liver or kidney damage, and may affect a developing fetus. Butylated hydroxytoluene (BHT) contains toluene. Other names may include benzoic and benzyl.

    * Dioxane– Found in compounds known as PEG, Polysorbates, Laureth, ethoxylated alcohols. Common in a wide range of personal care products. The compounds are usually contaminated with high concentrations of highly volatile 1,4-dioxane, easily absorbed through the skin. Dioxane’s carcinogenicity was first reported in 1965 and later confirmed in studies including one from the National Cancer Institute in 1978. Nasal passages and liver are the most vulnerable. Dioxane is easily removed during the manufacturing process by “vacuum *********”.

Warning: It is a synthetic derivative of coconut. Watch for hidden language on labels, such as “comes from coconut”.

IF SO, you should throw them away IMMEDIATELY and you can substitute virgin/extra virgin olive oil or a natural coconut oil to moisturize in the meantime until you find a better, natural alternative!!!

    Tupelo

Like you I also had raccoon eyes. This is what I did and use.

First, drink min. 3 glasses of water daily to keep your skin hydrated. Lack of water will cause your skin to shrivel and the dark circles will become more pronounced.

Second, get min. 8hrs of sleep. lack of it, just makes raccoon eyes worse

Third, I use a product called Extreme Eye Rescue. Over a period of several weeks of application it has lightened my eye circles considerably. So much so, that I bought a bottle for my mother.

I really like the ';wink sticks'; from Mark. They enhance your natural eye color and allow your skin tone to show through so they don't look funny on different skin tones, and can look completely different from one person to the next.

I heard golds, purples, and browns (or neutral shades)

im not sure what would look good. What colours eye shadow look nice for green eyes?
Golds, greens, purples, browns, and earthy reds go nicely.

I have green eyes myself, and these all work well.

I would stay away from blue eyeshadow, in my experience. Blue doesn't look bad necessarily (I strongly believe you can make almost ANY makeup work), but it is not as flattering as the colours mentioned.

Have fun with makeup. :)What colours eye shadow look nice for green eyes?

    PERFECT :)
    i think blues or purples.

How can an Asian girl make eye shadow look good?

If you haven't noticed, Asians don't have the fold of skin above the eye. Most of us just have skin barely covering. How can I wear eye shadow and make it look good without surgery or tape? How can an Asian girl make eye shadow look good?
Here's a tutorial on YouTube. This girl does an incredible job on her eyes!! Asian eyes are beautiful, don't use tape or have surgery, PLEASE!How can an Asian girl make eye shadow look good?
    not wear it
use colors that are very soft and slightly clear

they should be really light or really dark
    Natrual Beauty!
pick a funky color so it stands out

i'd recommend you go to ur local sephora and ask them...or just go to the website
well i'm not a big eye shadow fan, But eyeliner helps =]

    I'd say purple or gold

volumizer mascara and put on a lot and a lotHow do I make my eye lashers look more and thicker?
I say get some fake eyelashes. Then put on some good mascara.
definately go with sky highlights maybellie OR panoramic curl! they r both absolutely ahhhmazing and definately impress that some1!
Wear volumizer maskgara from cover girl!

first of all i would get a white eyeshadow and just do the top corner of your eyelid (right under your eyebrow) and high light it :)

then get a black eyeshadow and do it across your eyelid, then gradually fade it out, maybe adding in some slivers and grey etc. :)

You can buy at any store where they sell lenses.
squeeze a wet flannel over your eye so one drop rolls down and pulls the eyeliner with it.
get the tip of a tissue and wet it slightly. then smudge your eyeliner down your cheek.

any earthy colors and blueWhat color eye shadows look good with brown/green eyes?
    GREEN or HAZEL EYES

    1. Brown, apricot, purple, plum, deep khaki or forest green (because they are in the same greenish family, they brighten green eyes)

    2. Funky Favorites: gold, glowing, lime-green, really light green, bright purple (super modern)

    BROWN EYES

    1. Copper, bronze, champagne Uma Thurman (soft pink with a touch of apricot), brown (for a doe-eyed look), beige, and khaki-green (lighter shades add highlight)

    2. Funky Favorites: tangerine, royal blue, hot pink, lime-green (the contrast adds punch to brown)
for green eyes you may use dark purples, plumes and metallics. Dark green eyes look the best with deep purple tones.

and one of the eye shadow colors that looks the best on people with brown eyes is brown itself. When choosing a shade of brown, however, there is one important thing that you will want to take into consideration. This is the shade of brown that your eyes are. For example, if you have light brown eyes, you will want to choose medium or dark eye brown eye shadow colors.
If your eyes are Brown/Green, it would be most likely like a Hazel color.

I most definitely recommend A trio of Brown, Cream color, and Pink. It'll make you're eye color pop.

The best product to use is Almay Intense i-Color Shadow.

  • What eye shadow color would make blue eyes look bluer?

Bronze, brown or golden eye shadows are going to contrast with your eye color the most, thus making them standout even more. I have blue eyes too but I wear many different colors. I believe anyone; with any combination or coloring (eyes, skin, hair) can wear any eye shadow colors they choose, provided the colors are chosen to compliment each other.

But to specifically make your blue eyes stand out, I would suggest going for a bronze eye shadow, especially since its summertime. Browns are usually the choice for blue eyes, but everyone is wearing boring, muted shades of brown, so spice it up a little and go for bronze! It's still technically in the brown family. My favorite bronze shadows are ';Baked'; by Urban Decay and ';Amber Lights'; by MAC. Both are very similar shades of shimmery medium bronze. MAC also makes an eyeliner called ';Teddy'; which is a deeper, darker shimmery bronze that looks great with either of the shadows I've listed.

You could also try some brownish plums; they would really make your blue eyes stand out as well. MAC's Star Violet, Trax and Cranberry are great choices, although Star Violet is my favorite. Just check MAC's website for shade descriptions and color swatches. www.maccosmetics.com

Brown and plum shades are going to make your blue eyes look bluer, but don't be afraid to experiment with other colors too, even blue and green eye shadows. They might not make the actual blueness of your eyes stand out more, but they can look amazing and even change the blue in your eyes ever so slightly, some make them look more of a bluish green, or an icy blue, a grayish blue or a deeper blue. Makeup can always be washed off, so don't be afraid to play around with color. Even drugstore brands have some amazing options when it comes to pretty colors. What eye shadow color would make blue eyes look bluer?
light brown, orange, peach, or yellow will work. or something similar. those are the complementary colors of blue. What eye shadow color would make blue eyes look bluer?
Use a light brown colour about two tones darker than your skin shade on the lid.

Accent with a very dark blue in the crease, and fade a light, light blue into it.

This will create contrast closest to your eyes but will provide colour for comparison when someone's gazing into your baby blues.

A dark mascara will suit well, too, if you have a pretty consistant skin tone.
    Blue or plum.
I have blue eyes and I find that wearing a soft violet on the lid, deeper violet in the crease and a beige or light matt silver on the lid works well. You don't want to match your eye make-up color to your outfit. (that is outdated). Browns also work well, but remember to wear it this way:

under eyebrows: a light color (off white, beige, silver, light tan, etc)

in the crease of your lid: a deeper color of the one used for your eyelid

eyelid color: a color to compliment your eye color (for blue eyes there is violet/purples, browns/beige's, pink/purples, grey/lt. grey, I wouldn't recommend green, orange, or dark blues.
l think i like are brown and black colour of eye shadow

my eye is brown but i like blue
I have blue eyes too! I use blues from Mary Kay or some pinks, but nothing too blue to match my eyes bc then my eyes just look brown! Which is weird. My Mary Kay consultant has a website that you can order from: www.marykay.com/adina_k
White shimmer, or silver but only a little, don't over do it.
brown camel and or taupe make sure to blend and if your using more than one color go dark to light! your eyes will POP in these colors.
    black
I'm a Mary Kay beauty consultant, and I get this question a lot. Try taupes, or colors that enhance your eyes, but not compete with them. Stay away from really blue shadows. Visit the Virtual Makeover on my website for color ideas. Just find a model that has a similar coloring to you! www.marykay.com/adina_k
try a light blue or a light green... if that dosent work then try like a darker brown or maybe black
lilac, definatly looks the best!!! Try a lilac colour and see how it looks on you!!!
Try peach. It is known to make blue eyes bluer.
I have blue eyes also, and what I use is a dark brown on my eye lid and then a bit lighter on top of my eye.
purple or brown. it depends on whether your eyes are light blue or dark blue. mine are a light blue/green so purple makes them look REALLY blue.
i have really blue eyes naturally and when i really want to make them look bluer i do the following:

    1. put on bright, but deep blue eyeliner (medium thickness)

    2. put on sparkly gold eyeshadow

    3. touch up the eyeliner

    4. put on black, blue/black, or blue mascara

optional: add glitter to your eyelid

there's other things you can do, but this is a lot of fun and different from the norm...especially for special occassions and when you are also wearing blue clothes
    white
    sh*t brown
    purple
    What about blue?
    black
not blue you want to use blue compliment which is orange - so you want to use browns and golds they will really make you blue eyes pop
well i have green eyes and what made my eyes stick out was black like under and on the top too and i say do the same
I have blue eyes and so I know from experience that browns and oranges both make blue eyes stand out.

    :)
    midnight blue, aqua, or turquoise
Try a dark color like black or charcoal gray. It will bring your eyes out, and it will make a person want to look more into your eyes, because being that your eyes are that color, it will contrast greatly with the dark colors, and make your eyes pop lol.
    blue
Brown makes blue eyes look more blue.

You should never match your eye makeup to your eye color. I have green eyes and purple looks best on me. Brown eyes look best in shades of blue and aqua--blue eyes look best in shades of brown.
Browns %26amp; blues - this is based on color wheel theory:these are the complementing %26amp;contrasting colors for blue.

Try Almay Intense i-Color for blue eyes. It is designed to intensify your eye color. (1 set of shadow, liner, mascara for each eye color, so it eliminates the guesswork)

you can do a smokey eye by getting some dark golden and applying on the lid of the eye, then take a plum, purple color and apply it at the crease of ur eye, at the top. then use a dark dark brown and smother it in the corner of your eye! then take a dark green eyeliner and just do a dark coding at the top lid across the lashline, and a thin coding along the bottom lashline, all the way up to the crease. then, take a black mascara and get a long lash one and estend your eyelashes! gud luck ,any questions then jsut e-mail me!

You can really use any color for a smoky eye, but dark browns, plums, burnt oranges, and grays are the best in my opinion. (Depending on you're skin color, what you're wearing, etc.)

You will need a sponge brush, and an eyeshadow brush that is long and flat though!

    hope that helped ;)

How do you do a ';smokey eye'; look?

Is there any kit you've come across that makes it real simple? All my mascara is cheap crap that comes in a big variety pack. I'm looking for something that will actually stick and possibly be in a set. Does anyone know if Sephora has one? Or any place? Any ideas? How do you do a ';smokey eye'; look?

I was wondering, what green colored contacts look like

    on gray or blue-gray eyes?

    Does it look good?

Because I have a friend who had brown eyes, and when ever

she wears blue or green contacts they look really fake.

Does anyone have pictures of what it might look like?
