How to make blue eye look glassy using photoshop cs2?

I had seen photos with blue eyes that look glassy in color or in black and white. When i try to color in the blue eyes in the photo that is black and white the eyes look fake or they or to dark. Can someone please tell me how to do this effect?How to make blue eye look glassy using photoshop cs2?
Pentool where you want the blue to show up and set it to soft light, duplicate if needed.
