What eye shadow color would make blue eyes look bluer?

Bronze, brown or golden eye shadows are going to contrast with your eye color the most, thus making them standout even more. I have blue eyes too but I wear many different colors. I believe anyone; with any combination or coloring (eyes, skin, hair) can wear any eye shadow colors they choose, provided the colors are chosen to compliment each other.

But to specifically make your blue eyes stand out, I would suggest going for a bronze eye shadow, especially since its summertime. Browns are usually the choice for blue eyes, but everyone is wearing boring, muted shades of brown, so spice it up a little and go for bronze! It's still technically in the brown family. My favorite bronze shadows are ';Baked'; by Urban Decay and ';Amber Lights'; by MAC. Both are very similar shades of shimmery medium bronze. MAC also makes an eyeliner called ';Teddy'; which is a deeper, darker shimmery bronze that looks great with either of the shadows I've listed.

You could also try some brownish plums; they would really make your blue eyes stand out as well. MAC's Star Violet, Trax and Cranberry are great choices, although Star Violet is my favorite. Just check MAC's website for shade descriptions and color swatches. www.maccosmetics.com

Brown and plum shades are going to make your blue eyes look bluer, but don't be afraid to experiment with other colors too, even blue and green eye shadows. They might not make the actual blueness of your eyes stand out more, but they can look amazing and even change the blue in your eyes ever so slightly, some make them look more of a bluish green, or an icy blue, a grayish blue or a deeper blue. Makeup can always be washed off, so don't be afraid to play around with color. Even drugstore brands have some amazing options when it comes to pretty colors. What eye shadow color would make blue eyes look bluer?
light brown, orange, peach, or yellow will work. or something similar. those are the complementary colors of blue. What eye shadow color would make blue eyes look bluer?
Use a light brown colour about two tones darker than your skin shade on the lid.

Accent with a very dark blue in the crease, and fade a light, light blue into it.

This will create contrast closest to your eyes but will provide colour for comparison when someone's gazing into your baby blues.

A dark mascara will suit well, too, if you have a pretty consistant skin tone.
Blue or plum.
I have blue eyes and I find that wearing a soft violet on the lid, deeper violet in the crease and a beige or light matt silver on the lid works well. You don't want to match your eye make-up color to your outfit. (that is outdated). Browns also work well, but remember to wear it this way:

under eyebrows: a light color (off white, beige, silver, light tan, etc)

in the crease of your lid: a deeper color of the one used for your eyelid

eyelid color: a color to compliment your eye color (for blue eyes there is violet/purples, browns/beige's, pink/purples, grey/lt. grey, I wouldn't recommend green, orange, or dark blues.
l think i like are brown and black colour of eye shadow

my eye is brown but i like blue
I have blue eyes too! I use blues from Mary Kay or some pinks, but nothing too blue to match my eyes bc then my eyes just look brown! Which is weird. My Mary Kay consultant has a website that you can order from: www.marykay.com/adina_k
White shimmer, or silver but only a little, don't over do it.
brown camel and or taupe make sure to blend and if your using more than one color go dark to light! your eyes will POP in these colors.
black
I'm a Mary Kay beauty consultant, and I get this question a lot. Try taupes, or colors that enhance your eyes, but not compete with them. Stay away from really blue shadows. Visit the Virtual Makeover on my website for color ideas. Just find a model that has a similar coloring to you! www.marykay.com/adina_k
try a light blue or a light green... if that dosent work then try like a darker brown or maybe black
lilac, definatly looks the best!!! Try a lilac colour and see how it looks on you!!!
Try peach. It is known to make blue eyes bluer.
I have blue eyes also, and what I use is a dark brown on my eye lid and then a bit lighter on top of my eye.
purple or brown. it depends on whether your eyes are light blue or dark blue. mine are a light blue/green so purple makes them look REALLY blue.
i have really blue eyes naturally and when i really want to make them look bluer i do the following:

1. put on bright, but deep blue eyeliner (medium thickness)

2. put on sparkly gold eyeshadow

3. touch up the eyeliner

4. put on black, blue/black, or blue mascara

optional: add glitter to your eyelid

there's other things you can do, but this is a lot of fun and different from the norm...especially for special occassions and when you are also wearing blue clothes
white
sh*t brown
purple
What about blue?
black
not blue you want to use blue compliment which is orange - so you want to use browns and golds they will really make you blue eyes pop
well i have green eyes and what made my eyes stick out was black like under and on the top too and i say do the same
I have blue eyes and so I know from experience that browns and oranges both make blue eyes stand out.

:)
midnight blue, aqua, or turquoise
Try a dark color like black or charcoal gray. It will bring your eyes out, and it will make a person want to look more into your eyes, because being that your eyes are that color, it will contrast greatly with the dark colors, and make your eyes pop lol.
blue
Brown makes blue eyes look more blue.

You should never match your eye makeup to your eye color. I have green eyes and purple looks best on me. Brown eyes look best in shades of blue and aqua--blue eyes look best in shades of brown.
Browns %26amp; blues - this is based on color wheel theory:these are the complementing %26amp;contrasting colors for blue.

Try Almay Intense i-Color for blue eyes. It is designed to intensify your eye color. (1 set of shadow, liner, mascara for each eye color, so it eliminates the guesswork)
black
