How can an Asian girl make eye shadow look good?

If you haven't noticed, Asians don't have the fold of skin above the eye. Most of us just have skin barely covering. How can I wear eye shadow and make it look good without surgery or tape? How can an Asian girl make eye shadow look good?

Most colors look good with Asian eyes, but warm, neutral shades might be your best bet. Many lighter-skinned Asians prefer shades of brown/pink, but darker shades like plum look good, too. You'll probably want to use black eyeliner on your top lid, and mascara to enhance your eyes. If you want to give your eyes depth, start with a darker shade at the lash line, finishing with a lighter shade near the brow-- you can buy makeup that provides these graduating colors. Another tip would be to use a darker shade of eye shadow in the crease of your lid, to create the illusion of a deeper lid. If you go to www.palacinka.com in their face products review section you can read about some great colors. They have over 1,000 beauty product reviews from 300 of the world's top brands!
