How do you get the smoky eye look with out too much black make-up that makes you look like a raccoon?
Well the whole idea of a smokey eye look involves blacks and greys and whites for the eye shadow. If you wanted a lighter color you could definately use a different color such as brown or something, but then it would change the idea of a smokey eye look. You can pick a color that you have a dark, medium, and light shadow of and then do it. Plus you can also use eyeliner and mascara to make it darker but not to dark.How do you get the smoky eye look with out too much black make-up that makes you look like a raccoon?
you need three colours of eyeshadow light grey - dark grey and black


first put on your eyeliner but carry it on just past the enside corner of your eye - this will make your eye look bigger when youve got all the eyeshadow on then only put eyeliner on the underneath for about the first cm from the outside do a little flick tho but meat with the top then using your little finger smudge the underneath eyeliner in but only gently


then with the shadow put the lightest colour all over the lid - this will work as a colour base


use a small amount of darker grey from inner of eyelide to just past halfway - its really important that you blend the 2 grays together or it will look stupid


finally just apply a little black right into the corner of your eyelid with your little finger and slightly smudge out


then loads of mascara and a pale lip





honestly you just need to practice till you find a way of doing it that suits you but dont be afraid to experiment with taking the colours onto your brow bone - if done well it can widen your eyes.
