How to Get A Great Exciting Eye Look?

I have brown eyes and I use black mascara because I love the dramatic and smokey look. My eyelashes are also black too. I wear black eyeliner on my upper lid and use it on the bottom half of my eyes. I sometimes wear the smokey look or just put eyeshadow on all the way away my whole eye. I put black mascara only on the outer corners of my eyes. My favorite thing is to get a shimmer, at first it looks powdery but after a while of wearing it the oils in your eye make it have the wet look almost and my eyes a POP .... or try purples or greens ...
Umm I don't think there's is really anything else you can do.

Why do my eye contacts make my eyes look weird?

They change the shape of my eyes.


Do contacts change shape depending on perscription?


When i wear contacts my eyes look weird and round/small.


They look really different.


I don't remember having this problem with my other box of contacts.


Could they have given me the wrong measurements this time?

I think that has to be your imagination.





It is impossible for contacts to do that. Contacts are all round, and don't change shape regardless of the prescription.





Any wrong measurements would just make them not fit you...they can't make your eyes look weird or smaller than your other ones did.





Maybe just a stronger prescription and you are seeing yourself differently , but I'm sure your eyes look the same to anyone else.Why do my eye contacts make my eyes look weird?

Ok, so i look at a victoria secret catalog and I love the way their eyes look. its looks smokey but it also looks like they have eyeshadows under there eyes but i dont know how they do it because i always try to do it but i never looks good. does anyone have any good tips?How can I get the Victoria's Secret smokey eye look?

You apply it to the inside of the eyelashes on the bottom lid....from afar it blends with the white of your eye and makes it look bigger and more open
what i do is: I use champagne eye shadow as a base (covergirl, really cheap) then I use a plum color very lightly over it...then apply the white liner thickly close to your upper lashes. find a powder white shimmery eye shadow and apply over it lightly. finish with thick coats of mascara and you are good to go!
the inside corners of your eye. dont go all the way as this may look yuk. so just limit to the inside corners.
Yeah, apply on the bottom lashes. White eyeliner is also a good way to bring out the white color in my eyes when my eyes are bloodshot..=P

On the inside bottom of your eye will brighten your eyes for a pretty look, and if you want it on the top, stretch your skin of your eyelid out towards the corner so it is tight and it will be easier to make a straight line, as thick or thin as you want it.
I use it on lower inner rim
i think it looks best in the inner corner of the eyes and also along the bottom lash line. that will give it a 'open' or bigger look, which is what you want
I dont know about others on here but i have to use the liquid one i never had luck getting the pencil one on at all.
When used on the upper lid, the white attracts light and opens up the shape of your eye, whereas a black liner can make your eyes look smaller. You can also put white liner on the inside of your lower lid, inside the lashes. As with any makeup, be sure to choose the right shade: Stark whites can look a little bit scary, so opt for an off-white liner or try smudging more severe shades with a sponge or Q-tip for a softer look.





To apply, line the inner corner of the eye or your lower lashline with an eye pencil in shimmery white, cream, or silver and blend in the line. For extra brightening, use the same pencil to highlight the brow line.

I recommend GOSH Let's Twist eyeliner it's brilliant because it's waterproof and doesn't smudge or fade. I am also impressed with Avon eyeshadows they have those little eyeshadows that come as powder and you dip the applicator in the pot, a good smokey eye effect is if you use 2 or 3 eyeshadow colours and blend them in using an eyeshadow brush. MAC is very good but is also expensive. I have found that the Loreal HIP collection is very good. It is somewhat comparable to MAC also as they have some of the same shades. I love the HIP eyeliner also but Clinique eyeliner is really good also. Just make sure you use a soft kohl eyeliner bc it'll be soft and easier to be smudged, thus will look better. Most of the top line eyeliners are smooth and soft though. I hope I could be of some help to you.
I like Chanel eyeliner pencil in ';Noir';. Also, Chanel and Dior eye shadows are great. Try Chanel single eye shadow in ';Lotus'; or Ivory'; underneath your brow, and then ';Safari'; on the eyelid and crease.
I think Avon's one is wicked! It's like a double sided one. One side has silver eyeshadow the otherside has a metallic black pencil. I think its about 拢6 and it gives you perfect smokey eyes! x

u should prbbly put a primer before you put on any shadow.

YSL make a brilliant eyeliner that stays on really well. If you roll the tip around inbetween your fingers it softens slightly and smears well. Then use a black or dark brown eyeshadw and smudge around eye area. I finish with a liquid eyeliner close to my lashes.
